"I commend the breast cancer treatment I recieved"

About: University Hospital Of North Tees / Breast surgery

(as the patient),

I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and have had a mastectomy a fortnight ago.

I just wanted to commend the treatment that I received at North Tees breast care unit and the staff there. In particular Jan Harley and Mr. Hennessey were a credit to the NHS and the care they provided was outstanding.

I was always shown dignity, compassion, caring, competency, professionalism and enabled to share in the decision making regarding my care.

All of the staff within the unit were always caring and made a difference in such a stressful time.

I just want to state once again well done to an outstanding team,
