Anything else?
An event at my church, my wife having passed away some 17 months prior to the day, broke me down emotionally. In the end I had cried and cried for 15 hours. It was so traumatic. After having come home from church, I has my lunch and took my blood pressure. It was 245/109 heart rate 97. That blood pressure is enough to kill a 76 year old like me. My resting heart rate was almost double its norm. I am on Atenolol. When I arrived at the Hospital, I was quickly quized, Name/address/age/what is wrong. Having answered I was sent through to A&E. I felt a little guilty knowing that the emotions were a Mental issue. I was seen almost immediately by a Sister who took my blood pressure amongst other things. It had now dropped to just under 200. I then had to wait a full 10 minutes (they were not as busy as is usual. I then saw a very small lady Doctor. Wow was she good, she got to the bottom of the problem, medication wise and then insisted that I saw the Raid Psychiatric team. That too was an experience in itself. OK I am now under the Mental Health umbrella, but it is the right place for me at this moment. Thank You so much Good Hope.
