"total knee replacement"

About: Leicester General Hospital

Anything else?

I recently had a tkr and I was very pleased at the way I was treated by everyone who were involved. I must add that I appreciated the care I was shown by the nurse who took me to theatre from ward 14. I am terrified of lifts and as I was on the first floor it was inevitable to have to use one to get to theatre. I was so traumatised by this she arranged for me to go to ward 16 on the ground floor after my operation. Many Thanks it was really appreciated. The care I received on ward 16 was excellent. All the staff had time for me and did everything with good humour and never made me feel a trouble to them. The food choices were very good and all I had were very tasty and arrived hot and were delivered by friendly staff.Thankyou for making my stay as comfortable as was possible.

Dear Reviewer, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. A TKR replacement operation does sound daunting, and it's great to see our excellent staff took such great care of you! We have passed your kind words onto the staff on Ward 14 and Ward 16, as well as Interserve for the good review of the food you were served. Wishing you a speedy recovery, Communications Team Leicester's Hospitals
