Attended dental surgery dept. for two extractions on 19th July this year. Was expecting the worst . . but actually, I believe I got the best! I was seen within minutes of arriving and welcomed in by a team of three - 1 dental surgeon and two nurses, who displayed a caring/friendly attitude and did their best to put me at ease. I must have looked terrified ! as had been told that, due to having 'bulbous' roots, I would probably have my gums cut, and would receive stitches ! It was all over in about 10 minutes, no cuts, no stitches required ! I emerged a very happy customer ! My friend had recently gone privately to have the same two teeth as me, removed. His outcome was very different - he did have stitches and was in continuous pain for at least a fortnight afterwards ! I honestly couldn't recommend the dental department enough, they were lovely ! thank you !!! ;-D Elizabeth Tugwell
