Less than a week ago I had something 'strange' happen to my eye so I went to Sutton Eye A & E where had excellent friendly efficient service. I needed to be referred to a TIA clinic and less than 90 minutes after returning from Sutton I was called by Epsom Hosp and offered an appt 6 days later. The 'appointment' involved an ECG, Blood Test, MRI, Doppler Test and finally a feedback session with the consultant. I was given a timetable and amazingly everything went according to plan. I started my day at 08:15 and was leaving the hospital 3 hours later. Efficient beyond my wildest expectations. Every step of the way staff were friendly, professional, helpful, kind & reassuring. What a fabulous system. Compared to an almost identical situation experienced by my husband last year at Guildford Central Surrey Hospital where he had the same tests as I did today, things couldn't have been more contrasting. His tests were performed over several weeks, even months, involving about 4 visits to Guildford. Please don't change what your doing. You are all amazing. Thank you!
