I was extremely satisfied with the level of care I received in A&E yesterday. I was seen shortly after arrival after being admitted with chest pains. My stay ended up lasting 12 hours, while tests were being carried out, but the nurses were incredibly accommodating and couldn't have done more to ensure I was comfortable, including moving me to a private room so I could rest. I was treated efficiently and with compassion. The doctors I saw took the time to talk me through what was going on, despite having countless other patients to attend to. The area I was treated in was impeccably clean and maintained to a very high standard. Overall, I was extremely impressed and felt that I was receiving the best possible care at all times. I must also praise NHS 111, who had an ambulance at my door literally seconds after I'd placed the call.
