I attended Ward 7 Day Surgery. I tried to phone them but it rang away, unanswered. I walked onto the ward and nobody was at the reception desk so I waited 5 minutes. On hearing loud laghing I walked down to the nurses station at the end of the ward. I was met with a sister and 4 staff just sitting there laughing and joking. All they needed was a campfire. I complained and actually went to see managers 3 times. Complete and utter waste of time. A director said she'd get back to me on an agreed time and date. She didn't. Looking at the hospital, it's grossly over-staffed. The building is filthy and uncared for. One look at the worn out painted lines on the floor as you enter the building should tell us all we need to know. Disgusting, shambolic place to be avoided at all costs.
