"Emergency admission to ward B34 and E54"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I took Ill whilst visiting my daughter in Sunderland and was admitted after a 999 response having collapsed. The staff behaved with utter professionalism and good humour throughout my one week admission and I wish to extend my most grateful thanks to all the staff for their care.

If anything could have been better it would be more pillows, decent blankets and a reduction in the heat in the wards but in terms of the staff, I have nothing but praise!

Thank you for all your care.

Thank you for taking time to provide this feedback. We were pleased to note that overall your experience was a positive one, however appreciate your comments regarding the bed linen and heat on the wards. We will ensure this is forwarded to the appropriate departments so they can take necessary action to improve the experience for future patients. Thank you once again and we hope you are recovering well at home.
