I recently fell very ill with a serious virus; my wife rushed me to The William Harvey hospital in Kent. I have lived in South Africa for the last 30 years and I have all ways been on the best medical aid that money can get over there. The service that I received in South Africa for me my wife and children down the years has been exceptional and I have had nothing to complain about.
On returning to the United Kingdom we have been a bit apprehensive about the national health as one tends to hear bad stories about it. Lo and behold within a month of my return I fall very ill.
Well I have never been so surprised in my life, the professionalism, care and treatment that I received from the hospital has been absolutely outstanding. Everyone and I mean everyone that helped me through my illness was kind polite, courteous and absolutely professional in all my treatment. If this is the way that the National Health Service is run then I compliment you and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Yours truly thankful.
Please see that somehow all the staff get my thanks and that includes Hospital at Home who looked after me for a week Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
