"Kind and Caring Staff"

About: Derriford Hospital

Anything else?

In November 2013 I was admitted to the Derriford Hospital (ICU) Intensive Care Unit for one night in a coma and another night for observation. I was then moved to a ward in the Hospital for a further two nights observation. I have nothing but praise for all the staff I come into contact with at the ICU they were both kind, caring and very considered to my problem, the nursing staff and Doctors on the ward where I spent two nights were also equally Kind and caring and considerate. I would certainly not hesitate in returning to Derriford Hospital should the kneed arise.

Dear Keith

Many thanks for your message to the team in ICU and my apologies for the belated acknowledgement of your posting to Patient Opinion. I will ensure that the team on ICU are aware of your thanks and I know that they will be delighted to learn that their kindness and compassion were much appreciated.

Best wishes

Mary
