"The best care any child could wish for!"

About: Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital

Anything else?

My 7 month old son was admitted to The Royal Alexandra with acute Bronchilitus, it was an incredibly stressful time for us as a family but the care, support and expertise we got from all the staff was just outstanding! From A&E, to the ward and then the staff on the High Dependency Unit was exceptional. They supported me just as much as my son. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff went over and above every day we were there. The Consultant was unbelievable. The first time I met him I was crying uncontrollably outside my sons room. He gave me the biggest hug, sat me down and explained everything to me. He never seemed in a rush and always had time for my endless questions. The nurses were just incredible, they were so kind and thoughtful. A real huge thanks must go to the acute pain nurse. We all (including my son) fell in love with her and actually missed her when we came home. As awful as it was that my son got ill the Royal Alexandra made it an actual positive experience. Thank you
