This is a superb, friendly patient- centred unit which communicates well with patients and relatives, is flexible, has excellent therapists who believe in maintaining patient abilities rather than taking the quickest way out for them. Do not be fooled by Chase Farm Hospital telling you their rehab unit on Capetown ward can provide the same amount of therapy - it can't. The aim of Capetown ward is to get you out of hospital, the aim of Magnolia unit is ro keep you out - different philosophies. Enfield are lucky to have this hidden gem, close Chase Farm if need be but please don't close this ward - increase its funding as overall it saves taxpayers money and improves the quality of life for its patients - what more can we ask of NHS - if only it was all like this!
