"Lovely Staff team"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

Anything else?

I was admitted for a minor operation and was extremely nervous. All the staff had a smile and spent time with me to explain all my options and answer my silly questions. I know they would have all been extremely busy but they didn't let it show. There are so many people I would like to thank but my nerves meant I've forgotten most of their names. Staff on ward B14 were so kind and the lovely lady in the operating theatre who stroked my hand has no idea how much that meant to me. The anaesthetist was also very kind and cheery and helped put me at ease when I felt my head was going to pop with the stress of it all.

Dear Claire Thank you for the feedback you have given on the NHS choices website. I am pleased that you were happy with the support our staff gave to you during your journey through the operating theatre. It is always a morale boost for the staff and I will ensure that they all receive your complements. Kind regards Barbara Kenealy-Jones Matron Theatres
