I brought my frail mother to the cardiology dept on tuesday 26th November 2013. This was for a pacemaker implantation as a day patient. I was very pleased with her treatment from start to finish. The consultant came to discuss the procedure before and he also spoke to us afterwards and gave us chance to ask any questions. My mother was checked afterwards by two Cardio Physiologists and she had two xrays. The staff went out of their way to make , what was a worrying visit as bearable as possible.
