What I liked
My son has so far been admitted approximately 6 times via A&E for shortness of breath. I can't thank the staff in the childrens A&E enough, I think they all know us by now. They are so caring and look after all of us and supply us plenty of bubbles and a new teddy each time.
The same goes for the staff in Outwood Ward and the childrens pedreactric dept where he is admitted to after each attack.
My only complaint would be one of the staff in X-Ray one time was the worst member of staff I have met there. Don't really think it's acceptable to scream at a 3yr old to stand still when he is unwell and exhausted on his worst attack so far. I was tempted to refuse the X-Ray on his behalf.
What could be improved
If all staff could be as nice as the ones in the Childrens A&E and Outwood Ward, it would be top marks all round.
