"Total Knee Replacement - Trauma and Orthopaedic..."

About: Royal Surrey County Hospital

Anything else?

From the moment I arrived at the Unit for the operation, I was greeted by name and beautiful smiling faces. The whole atmosphere was so positive and confident that I quickly lost any nervousness I had been feeling. The staff really were so kind and the place was full of friendly attention and offers of help. They made sure I understood what was going on, and the process of what would be happening. Before I knew it I was back in the Recovery Room – amongst more smiling folk trying to make me as comfortable as possible before going on up to Bramshott Ward. The staff on the Ward were wonderful – professionalism and true nursing care in the old understanding of the words. As well as being very efficient , the overall atmosphere of positivity, friendliness and “can do” was transmitted to patients as well as amongst all grades of staff, making Bramshott Ward a delightful place to chat with other patients – almost like a large family! I would be most grateful if you would be kind enough to let the doctor and all the staff concerned know how much I appreciated their care. Thank you very much for my new knee Jane Roberts,
