"I have worked at QEII hospital ..."

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

(as the patient),

What I liked

I have worked at QEII hospital for more than 30 years and recently was admitted to Sandridge ward, the first time ever I had been in hospital for a Hysterectomy, I could not fault the care that I received it was all excellent from the nursing care through to the doctors and food which was all excellent. Everyone was very caring and made my stay a very comfortable one.

What could be improved

The staff on the ward really worked hard to make my stay very comfortable. The only improvement I would say , is when I came in for op I was waiting around nearly all day for my bed but I think this was due to the ward being very busy which is understandable.

Thank you. As you will know from first hand experience, our staff work very hard and are dedicated in providing the best treatment and care for their patients. Your kind words have been passed on to our staff, especially on Sandridge ward.
