I am writing as I want to thank a member of the urgent care team who took the time to help my daughter. He was a senior nurse on duty of the evening of the 26.11.13. Everyone knows the conditions and the deadlines in the hospital are stretched to breaking point and that shows in the care that is given and provided by most the healthcare proffesionals who simply 'do not have the time' to be compassionate and caring which should be a key factor in their chosen proffesion. But this member of staff took the time to help a very terrified young lady who was too scared to be treated due to a phobia and who 5 doctors and I don't know how many nurses had turned away for help because they 'didn't have the time' to help her feel safe so they could treat her. We are so grateful to him for this. Thank you. You made a difference to our lives and we are eternally grateful. For the help you gave. I just hope someone 'finds the time' to let you know about this review.
