Anything else?
I gave birth to our daughter on 30 August 2013 and wanted to write to express thanks and appreciation to the staff on Labour ward. I had to be induced due to maternal age which, in short, complicated my labour and resulted in my placenta haemorrhaging and concerns over the baby's heart rate. The staff who looked after me, my partner and baby daughter were exceptional. I would like to make a special mention of the following: the midwife, the doctor, the Senior Registrar, the anaesthetist who were all amazing. After a short but incredibly scary period of time where there were fears over the baby's safety, the team at the Royal Free worked as a solid team, professionally and diligently to ensure a healthy delivery. Words can't express how happy my partner and I are that ur daughter was born healthy and is thriving as a three month old now! The staff were calm, collected, empathetic and supportive throughout and I will remember our experience at the Royal Free as a life changing moment where we welcomed our daughter into the world. Thank you again to everyone who played a role throughout the delivery and the following aftercare received. Yours gratefully,
