"Upset at maternity care"

About: University Hospital Lewisham / Maternity care

(as a parent/guardian),

On Ward 5 I saw some staff being rude, constantly ignore patients, inconsistent and contradictory information/instructions given by staff to patients, no observations completed for 12 hours, pain medication not given for 12 hours, patients being instructed to get out of bed within 6 hours of having a caesarian when it should be the next day.

This resulted in patient collapsing and bleeding over the floor, which was not cleaned for 24 hours.
