I was a patient on Loxley ward at the Nottingham City hospital in May of this year.
I liked the quiet rest period which took place between 1pm to 2.30pm each day. All wards had doors, so no noise could be heard from outside of the ward.
The nurses were very efficient, as they had to come in during the night after my operation to record observations. This was carried out with the minimum disturbance.
