I have been into york hospital many times over the years for multiple procedures, I was also born there . I couldn't imagine going to any other hospital , the hospital is always warm and comfortable. The staff our lovely and carry out regular checks on your health and to make sure that you are comfortable. As for cleanliness every visit I have had ,cleaners have been in and around my ward and as you walk about they are always cleaning . Food isn't the best but what do you expect with hundreds of mouths to feed, I wouldn't call it disgusting , it is perfectly edible but just not the most tasty but I'm not complaining as they do the best they can with the resources and funding available. The only issue i could suggest they improve on is sunday care , yes I understand that its a sunday but literally it feels like the hospital shuts down and understaffed but i guess once again that comes down to funding . Overall it is an excellent hospital and I would definitely recommend it too anyone in need of care and i thank all the staff that i have had the pleasure of dealing with .
