"With the support of my therapist, I have started to feel less and less anxious "

About: Inclusion Matters Liverpool

(as the patient),

Inclusion helped me to understand why I was experiencing anxiety attacks and how to deal with them when I experienced them.

I originally had a problem with panic attacks associated with flying, but it developed further and I started to experience them in lectures, on trains and in crowded places.

My therapist helped me to understand why I was feeling like this in these situations and once I know why, it was easier to handle these feelings when I felt them coming on.

With the support of my therapist, I have over a few months started to feel less and less anxious and I can get on trains and go to lectures without the fear of having a panic attack.

I'm still working on the flying fear, however, I feel like Inclusion have given me the right tools to beat it!

Dear Energy453

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us.

Panic attacks can affect people so much as you have experienced, so it is great to hear how much you have progressed in learning about what is causing them and beginning to be able to challenge and overcome them. All the very best with working on the flying fear which it sounds like you are determined to conquer; maybe you can let us know when you jet off somewhere in the future!

Thanks again for sharing your story

Kind regards

Heather
