My stay in Darlington Memorial was to say the least not a nice one. I have to go for an MRI soon and possibly another operation.

They harp on about washing hands to stop infections spreading! Nurses doing Obs without cleaning hands from patient to patient, I watched a doctor go from one patient to another changing the cannula without gloves and without cleaning his hands then proceeded to insert one in my hand!

I had to tell him to wash his hands. Doctor examined me without gloves on although I didn't realise until it was too late!

No wonder we have infections in this hospital!
