I was taken in after I was knocked off my bike by a hit and run driver; the staff were delightful, the food was decent and consistent (3 meals a day, lunch and dinner consisted of a hot meal and a dessert). Keep in mind that it is a university hospital, but the students are beyond competent. I even learnt how to use an ultrasound as I was a guinea pig for some pre-med doctors :) I was given the choice at the scene of the accident, whether I should be taken to Homerton or Whipps, and I don't regret my decision for a second.
