"An asset to your staff"

About: Milton Keynes Hospital

Anything else?

I attend the eye clinic regularly and I always get quite anxious before the appointment. On most occasions, I am waiting in the waiting area for at least 20-30mins before being called through, however on this occasion I had only just sat down! The young lady introduced herself to me prior to starting any tests and explained what she was going to do before hand in detail. I have never had the field test explained to me in detail and I felt much more confident doing the test. It was nice to have someone spend time with you and no just rush into the test. She patiently listened to what I had to say and answered all the questions I had. I asked her how long she had been at the hospital and she told me she had only been there a month. Credit where credit is due, she is an asset to the department and I will be requesting her for my tests in the future. I wish her all the best in her career.

Thank you very much for your positive comments regarding the Ophthalmology department at the hospital. It is always very much appreciated by staff when patients and their families take the time to give feedback on their experience and your comments will be shared with all staff involved. Milton Keynes Hospital would like to apologise for the length of time it has taken to reply. Thank you.
