What I liked
In this day and age when people are quick to complain when anything is wrong, I felt that I should write to thank the staff for the excellent care our 87 year old mother has received at Wansbeck General Hospital.
Our mother took ill whilst on holiday and was taken by ambulance to Wansbeck.
The care administered in A&E was very good and later that day she was admitted to ward 3. The care she has received from all the staff on ward 3 and from the team of doctors has been outstanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the staff did all they could to keep her spirits up, when they knew she was far away from home. We visited regularly but the attention by the staff was excellent.
Our mother is back home now and I would once again thank the doctors and staff on ward 3.
