Just wanted to write a quick note to praise the staff and service at Wythenshawe A&E.

My daughter had a playground accident at school and bumped her head. The bruise swelled up massively over the first few hours. After calling my GP I was advised to take her to A&E.

Our experience was fantastic; seen by a triage nurse within 5 minutes and sent to children's A&E, had to wait about 20 mins to be seen, the nursing staff were excellent treating both my daughter and me with respect and kindness.

The Nurse Practitioner who then dealt with my daughter took great care to check her over, examine the wound and make sure she hadn't suffered concussion. He also gave great advice that put our minds at ease.

We left exactly an hour after we arrived.

Couldn't fault any of our experience.
