After waiting nine months for an operation, I was advised on the day 30 minutes before I was due to undergo the procedure that general anaesthetic was not available, after confirming on no less than 3 occasions that it was. I am still waiting for my operation after being transferred to another consultant who will not operate without seeing me again first. This has now been four months. My emails of complaint and my telephone calls have not been answered.
