My brother was admitted after a fall in town. He had a brain injury 30 years ago and has mobility problems and other challenges.
The team in ED treated him with respect, managed him well so he was not agitated and ensured his examination was good as he is not good at giving a history. He did have a fracture but he was sorted out, given something to eat, his carer contacted and I was informed by phone (I live away) what was occurring.
Dr Robert Florence was a star and the RATs team sorted out his tea. Matron Di checked on him while he was waiting.
Great care, great service, happy brother.
