I had to attend for a colonoscopy, and it's fair to say I was very anxious! However the team at the endoscopy unit were kind, helpful and very understanding and once in the consultation room I felt reassured and well cared for. The overall experience was not anywhere as bad as I had expected. (The only negative thing, if I was going to be really picky is that the initial reception is a bit public, with the receptionist calling across the room so everyone could hear names and who would be collecting you, how you get home etc. I felt this could have been a bit more discreet) Overall though, very happy with the treatment I received , thank you.
