"Nothing, it was a terrible experience ..."

About: Warrington Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Nothing, it was a terrible experience and I would hope never to have to be referred here again.

What could be improved

I had an appointment for the eye clinic which at best can only be described as a cattle market. The reception staff need to smile and not make you feel like you are an interuption. After waiting for almost "hours to be seen, I had the 'cheek' to ask if I'd been forgotten as everybody who'd come after me had been seen before me! There is no apparent system or communiction in place to inform us mere patients of running times as maybe it's assumed that we can just sit there forever!! When I did get called to see someone I was met by the rudest male nurse I have ever encountered. He did not introduce himself or tell me what he was doing, I had to ask who he was and why I was asked to sit in a room with him as I was expecting to see the Doctor. He made me feel like a nuisance and when I came out the lady before me made the same comment. Eventually when I saw the Doc he was fine and off I went. However the experience I had at your hospital has taught me not to 'choose & book' with you again.

Thanks for taking the time to eave your feedback. There are issues you have raised that can be addressed about communication on waiting times and we have passed your comments on to the department so that they can look at them in more detail to see how we can address them.
