Anything else?
Patients were queued on trolleys all the way down the corridor being cared for by ambulance crews in majors. One crew for every three patients. There were no seats in the waiting room. Ambulance crews were doing patients obs and ECG's on patients who were not yet booked in so don't have to appear on the system. My relative was still not on the system an hour after he was brought in do they can fudge their 4 hour turnaround figures which I can assure you are not being met. There are not enough cubicles or staff, the facilities are totally inadequate, all the time ambulance crews are caring for patients in the corridors they cannot answer calls. And this is just a Monday night. I am informed that this will be what it is like every night through until Springtime. And management wonder why they are in special measured!!!! Some of the wards are no better with overcrowding, under staffing and lack of respect for patients with special requirements. Patient notes are left lying around for the world and his wife to look at.
