To Ward Manager: Victoria & Albert Ward, I’ve been home 5 days now and wish to take this opportunity to inform you and all the Doctors& Nurses from HDU, the Ward and the Operating Surgery team, I don’t need to name them individually, they know who they are, that I’m recovering fast. Remove my dressing today, with no problems, Surgery healing well and my left arm movements are getting better by the day, I took the advice given, to take it slowly…, slowly….from the lady in the Surgery team. I was in a bad dark place when I arrived at your Hospital on the 30th October 2013, which caused a great deal of problems for all your casualty staff, (“to be very honest; I thought it was the end for me”) nevertheless they continued to battle on to find a seclusion, both my family and I are so very grateful to them all. I’ve never been lucky at winning anything. But having the great fortune of living so close to King’s is the luckiest win of all. I sincerely thank you all, D,L,Spry.
