"Nasal polyp removal and sinuses drained"

About: Nuffield Health, Leeds Hospital

Anything else?

I was very happy overall with the process from start to finish. The room was clean and the nurses on the ward cared for me tentaviely both before and after the procedure. The theatre staff were good at putting your mind at rest during being aneathatised. My only down side was when i was recovering the consultant advised i had been down longer than anticipated. Further info was given but because i was not fully coherent at the time i did not take this in. I thought a visit to my room a little after the surgery would have been better as i would have been more awake. I was made aware on my return visit that there had been a slight problem which i would have liked to have known on the day as this would have explained why i felt like i did afterwards. The consultant however; was very good and this should not take away the fact that i am very happy with him and how i was dealt with throughout the process. Apart from this minor issue the whole experience was good and i would have no hesitation going back (hopefully this will never be the case).
