I was referred to Dereham Hospital for physiotherapy by my GP. I had trouble with my arms and I had trouble keeping grip of objects from time to time and at other times would get shooting pains down my arms. The left one being the worst.
I received a warm welcome at the physio department and got given a choice of options as to how I could go about receiving treatment. I got offered acupuncture which I turned down for a personal reason, but that was fine and alternative methods were applied.
I got given exercises which I could do at home and advised to apply ice pack to alienate pain.
I have finished my physio sessions now and still experience some pain from time to time, but do more than anything else appreciate the helpful information I received on looking after my own muscles and joints.
Thank you for all your help and support.
