The Consultants and Specialists are extremely professional and excellent on every level. They have always treated me the same as any other patient, with respect and dignity. However, some of the Staff seem to have a thing about NHS Patients. Couldn't count how many times they reminded me I was 'on the NHS' and 'the package you're on only includes', even though I was super polite, low maintenance and didn't ask for anything! This attitude by some Staff has been getting worse over the last 18 months and needs addressing, it is highly disrespectful to make someone feel like a second class citizen, very embarrassing. Always treat someone the way you would like to be treated yourself. I do hope this aspect improves, as this is an excellent hospital.
