I was transfered here as the NHS had no beds, despite being miles away from home the staff made sure I had everything I needed. They ensured I knew where everything was and explained everything to me very patiently as I was so unwell. The ward manager is amazing, she runs the ward calmly and fairly. She took time out of her day off to bring in things I needed and spent time with my children explaining things in a way they understood without frightening them, Its a shame that the NHS can not provide care to this standard, I recovered quicker and have a better understanding of my illness in 3 weeks than I have in 5 years from my NHS team.
