I cannot speak highly enough of my recent stay on the Surgical Assessment Ward 8B South. Every single member of the team was excellent; my concerns were listened to and accommodated where possible, I was fully informed at every stage and the care was kind and professional. From initial check in at A&E, through to Triage and then up onto the assessment unit, into theatre, recovery and back on the ward, everybody was brilliant. This was not luck, it was consistent excellent care and much appreciated social interaction from a wide range of nursing and auxiliary staff as well as the doctors and surgeons.. Many thanks to everybody involved in my care, it was much appreciated.
