Anything else?
I had my gallbladder removed yesterday afternoon at Southend University Hospital and I cant praise all the staff highly enough. From the admissions nurse to the anaesthetist and the surgeon they were absolutely brilliant. I was able to leave hospital the evening of the op after I had something to eat and managed to do a wee, thanks to the ward nurse I got to spend the night in my own bed. I am feeling little pain, although I am having paracetamol every 4 hours or so just to make sure and the incisions are glued together so no annoying stitches. The gallstone that was removed with the bladder was the size of a golfball and I am so glad it has gone. If anyone is hesitant about having this op, dont be, it is worth a bit of discomfort to know that the pesky gallbladder is gone. Thank you again all at Southend Hospital.
