"contraception in the over 50's"

About: Castle Hill Hospital

(as the patient),

I was due to have my depo injection early november at my local doctors, by the practise nurse only to be rang an hour beforehand to tell me that the nurse was not happy giving me it because of my age, even though they gave me my last one when I was 50, 3 months earlier, I went to my local family planning clinc were a lovely nurse there from conifer house hull, booked me in for the next morning to see a doctor at the G. U. M clinic at castle hill hospital, the doctor was fantastic, she gave me all my opinions, booked me in for hormone blood tests to see if I was still fertile and also booked me in for a bone density scan, she gave me the pill which is the same as the depo but pill form and she couldnt do enough to help me along with the nurse from conifer house, after being left in the learch by my doctors practise nurse I was very happy that I had been to see the nurse from conifer house as none of this would have happened without her being so very helpful
