Booked for a low risk procedure not req any anaesthesia apart from local

For the 20min procedure I spent 5 hours at hosp, fasted (they insisted although anaesthetist and surgeon said not necessary) used a lot of staff time due to the process. Was ID checked 27 times (more process) and went home with another patients discharge summary.

Hospital have responded to loss of personal data-had several phone calls but have assured me that they will introduce another checklist (so that would be 28) to ensure it doesn't happen again! ! ! !
