Knowing how quick the media grabs bad news about the NHS I feel that you need to relate the following. Having been to Castle Hill hospital Hull twice recently I need to inform you of the staff. They were not just professional but kind, helpful and treated my Dad (90 years old) with such amazing empathy. Even when we went to the wrong ward the receptionist put on her coat and took us to the right place. The nurse on ward 4 found my Dad a drink to calm him down and the doctors took time to explain the procedure. I cannot praise and thank them enough. We felt that the service was outstanding.
