Excellent care by all staff in Dolphin and Penguin wards 2013. My son was admitted in October 2013 and I was overwhelmed by the superb level of care that he had. All staff went out of their way to make his stay as comfortable as possible and were totally professional. All of the nurses worked incredibly hard and kept a close watch on my son both day and night.The play leaders on the wards helped amuse him and take his mind off feeling unwell. The cleaners worked constantly to maintain good standards and I saw all of the staff using anti bacterial gel . The kitchen staff were very considerate with trying to find something that my son could manage to eat which really helped. The consultants were thorough and kept me informed with all decisions made regarding my son. Medway Maritime should be very proud of these wards as the staff are amazing, hard working and a credit to the hospital. Any parent should feel reassured to have their child treated here and cared for by these wonderful nurses. .
