"Excellent care"

About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

Anything else?

Having come into Ward 23 for a straight forward procedure, unfortunately I had a rare problem afterwards and I have to say that my treatment was brilliant. The quick actions of Ward 23, the fast treatment by the doctors team and the following care on the Coronary Care Unit, I cannot fault any of it. The things that stood out on the CCU were the friendliness of the staff, they seemed happy in their work and they knew their patients needs. I know staffing levels are higher on the unit, but other wards around the hospital should take note of how the CCU staff work. It isn't just about staff numbers, it's attitude and knowledge which are just as important. I know the hospital has taken a bit of a battering recently in the press, but the care I received could not have been any better. Well done.
