"Was my knee-cap broken?"

About: Faversham Cottage Hospital

Anything else?

I visited the unit 13th August 2013, in the morning after a fall on my left knee. I had been advised that if I could walk, a break was unlikely, so I didn't go to A&E. I was clearly told by Reception that the Unit was dealing with an emergency, and I would have a wait. There was a fine chair to use. When I was seen, the testing of my knee was thorough and advice to rest for a week then see my GP was clear and sympathetically given. I was very happy not to need to drive to Ashford. I will use the MIU again!
