its not the best place! people go in to get better yet come out worse cant tell staff from patients on visiting someone i was so confused the ward was filthy and when i found staff they were extremly unhelpful i asked about fruit as my friend i visited was begging for some to which i was told they only have fruit 2 times a week i ended up on visits taking fruit for 7 patients staff said they would look into this....2months on no change

We would like to apologise for not having responded to these comments at the time, and can assure that we now have a more robust monitoring and responding system in place.

Recent posts have been responded to and we are now going back through previously un-responded comments to provide this update.

Since this comment was posted there has been a focus on improving our older inpatient estate and also ensuring the physical wellbeing needs of patients are addressed equally to their mental health needs. This includes more fruit and other sources of good nutrition and hydration as well as a dedicated ward therapy and activity team.
