"Where are my dads belongings?"

My father died on the 17th October on ward C34. I rang the ward on the morning to find out how he was and was told to go straight in which is when I was given the devastating news and left. Nobody gave me any help or advice or offered me my dads belongings. I called several times over the next couple of days and was passed from pillar to post. They eventually found his wallet and watch, but was told they couldn't find his clothes, glasses and jewellery (one of which was my late mothers wedding ring which he wore on a chain around his neck). Also, when I went to pick up his medical certificate, the nurse handed it over to me whilst she was talking on the phone!! No "hello", "how are you", or anything? I found this very rude and disrespectful! I didn't want or expect sympathy, but a little respect and dignity goes a long way at such a difficult time, Shocking!
