"Problems getting an appointment at Stonebridge Clinic, Nottingham"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus

(as the patient),

I was referred to the Stonebridge clinic in Nottingham on the 23rd July 2006. This is now 4 months since. I recieved no contact from them at all for 2 months, at which point I telephoned to ensure the referal had been recieved. I was then passed around, from person to person, until one person finally gave the excuse 'We're not taking on new patients'. The Clinic hadn't contacted my GP in order to say this, either.

Two months later, and despite my best efforts, and the best efforts of my GP, I have heard nothing. Not even a referal confirmation- despite the fact that I'm not a new referal, and was referred before the clinic stopped taking on. I am sincerely upset at this.
