"I needed help to be free from Methadone"

About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / The Woodlands (inpatient unit for substance misuse)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

On behalf of the Service User

I needed help to be free from Methadone, because I wanted to be off everything that tied me to drug addiction.

Everybody at the Woodlands are very friendly including staff and patients. and if you are struggleing they will sit and chat with you and help you through your rattle.

They talked me through my de-tox so I knew what to expect when I came to the Woodlands.

There are Doctors during the week to help you when you need support advice.

I was happy with my bedroom which had much space and felt like home from home.

I recomend to anyone who has an addiction to come here for de-tox.

I am very grateful of the help that I have received and the chance to come here. I thank all the staff at the Woodlands for your support and help x
